Craft Mode

Spring makes me feel like doing crafts!
Thanks to JOANN Fabrics moving sale I was able to get some supplies.

I love the colors in this picture.
{Feminine and Springy}

Growing up my mom had doilies around the house...
I love them now too.

I want a pillow like this one!

Of course my home doesn't look like this...but I adore this rug!

I want to make one of these {chalk picture frames} to put above my bed.

Frame collage on the wall? Yes, please.

Maybe it is the engagement, but I am loving looking at decor ideas.
I think this is a cute couply craft to have in my future home.

{Poor Joshua}
 I am going and not make our future home too girly.
I'm AM lucky to have found a man that has great taste, though.
So I know he will help me. :)

{Reception}

I want to be creative in keeping the theme of my wedding in my reception.
I have found a few ideas that are fun that I wanted to share!

Joshua and I would love to have a barn reception.
When he comes back in August we will be checking out a venue.
I am praying it works out!
{CROSS YOUR FINGERS}

My whole wedding planning so far has been focused on this glowing effect.
We will definitely be having LOTS of lights.

 I know I have posted this picture before...but I am so so so excited about the wagon wheel {chandeliers}.
This is something that I am set on doing and have already bought one wagon wheel.
I am currently in the search for another.

I have already purchased a couple antique dessert plates.
It would be nice for them to be not matching.

Of Course our wedding has to have a {coffee bar}.
"I can't stop drinking the coffee. If I stop drinking coffee, I stop doing the standing and the walking and the words putting-into-sentence doing."

I am completely in love with {lace}...so there will be details of it found everywhere.

My mom and I share a love for vintage gold frames.
We already have the resources to do these ideas...
not sure if Joshua and I want to but it might be fun!!!

Family Matters

                                I am proud to say that my parents are still happily married.
I have been blessed with a great example of what God intended in marriage.
So it is not surprising that some aspects of their engagement & wedding are inspirations to me.

In my engagement pictures I am wearing my mama's leather jacket that
my dad got her for high school graduation.

I {Love} this picture. My mama is letting me wear her veil. It is undergo a little altering to remove the head band, but I love everything else about it.

    There was no question when I got engaged about what veil I wanted on my big day. I have always wanted to wear my mom's veil.

Again, like my mom I am wearing a going away dress.
I recently found and purchased my going away dress and {I absolutely love it}.

My mom also had a parasol. I am not using this idea necessarily, but I think it is darling.
I am thinking about incorporating it in some of the pictures.
As you can probably guess by now, my mom still has hers.

I am not wearing my mama's dress, but I will definitely have a lace dress.
My dress will be vintage inspired. I would also like it to be unique.
For this I am relying on my {bridesmaids} for their opinion.

My parent's cake was very over the top.
My mama told me that it was very carefully picked out and she was very proud of it.

I think every bride has that one thing in her wedding about which she is very particular.
I, however, want a simpler cake. My interests are more in the decor of the wedding.

I am super excited to go wedding dress shopping this weekend. My bridal party is going with me. This group of girls are very dear to my heart and it means so much to me to share it with them. Of course, my mama will be there also. It helps a lot that we share the vision for my wedding and she understands my style. I absolutely {love} her.

Family is of high importance to me.
I am very close to mine and soon there will be an addition to our clan.

Joshua is such a blessing in my life and I cannot wait to be his {wife}.

My insperations

This weekend I will be shopping for my wedding dress!
I wanted to share some more inspirations that I have in mind for my wedding.
I will keep these in mind for my dress and wedding in general.

I {LOVE} anything lace <3

Lace Lace Lace

It would be amazing to be able in keep the rustic/vintage theme.
I adore this picture!!!

GOTTA have a lil glitter ;)

Not a fan of the dress necessarily, but just love the sash.
If I DO wear a sash...I'll most likely make my own.

{IVORY}

Classic Cameo is always an inspiration.

So so so many ideas...
