Inspiration

I had my first wedding dress experience yesterday!

The excitement of it all has made me realize how ready I am to start buying.

I have items of inspiration to share that will be in my vision when I {shop}.

Ivory, of course.

I want a vintage / whimsical dress.

Femininity is key.

I'm so looking forward to seeing what my bridesmaids choose for shoes and jewelry.

They are beautiful women that should show their individuality.

{Anything} that has lace is A-Okay in my book.

Oh Canada!!!

Me and my two closest friends are headed to Canada for SPRING BREAK.

I can not wait for finals to be over :)

{Road Trip}

Of course, this will not be our transportation.

The goal is to get away to a small town and relax.

We want to have fun...but also unwind from the stresses of college.

We will be spending A LOT of time in coffee shops.

All three of us are addicted to it.

It is pretty sad when you are making a budget for a trip...

 ...and you have to set aside a specific amount for coffee.

Gotta Love It!

Though my wedding is a ways away,

there is still planning to do.

As of now, I am getting an idea of what I want.

All my ideas, again, have a vintage/rustic feel.

Plus, it gives me something to keep my mind busy while Joshua is away.

This idea I would apply to the indoor reception that we plan to have.

I think it would be a beautiful backdrop behind the wedding party table.

Not sure where to use this...but I LOVE vintage trunks.

Any ideas?

I want lace around the stem of the bouquet.

I also like this idea of adding a broach and tooling.

Joshua and I talked about having this as our alternative to a guest book.

Every guest leaves their finger print.

I have always been obsessed with Cameos.

There is something so classic about them.

This idea is something I am surely going to use and I am already searching for the perfect one.

I want gold shoes so badly.

I already have a pair that I may use...but i'm keeping my options open!

I want to have a head piece for sure.

I am leaning more towards making my own.

I love the idea of a metal flower.

  

Long Time No Blog

I got so extremely busy with school I wasn't able to Blog.

But I'm Back!

Who doesn't want a glowing reception?

I know I do.



Along with having my reception in a barn...I have a vision of a glowing atmosphere.

Those chandeliers are wagon wheels!

I love this idea and have already purchased one wagon wheel.

This is a MUST HAVE.

As you can probably tell already...Joshua and I are going to have a pretty rustic wedding.

But it will be with a classy vintage feel.
